Jumperoo

On Father's Day my sister in law Vanessa brought her daughter's jumperoo over so that Nick and Alex could try it out.  It turned out to be just like the one that Nick loves at church.  On Father's day he hogged the jumperoo and jumped his little heart out, he even jumped himself to sleep.  I wasn't going to get him one but once I saw how much he loved it I had to get him one.  He still loves it, he jumps with everything he has...and occasionally he will still jump himself to sleep.

                             Jumping is hard work!

The Del Mar Fair

It's a tradition for us to go to the fair every summer.  Obviously this was Nick's first time.  We took him to see all the animals and even though he is only 7 months he really liked looking at all the animals.  He seemed to be really taking it in and very interested.  (Don't my parents look adorable in this picture?)

He had a great time!
The whole family, complete with dorky hats.  Raz and I won't have to work hard to embarrass Nicholas.  :O)

Larissa's Wedding

My cousin's wedding was in Venice Beach, on the first day of summer, which also turned out to be the HOTTEST!!!  We had a great time but it was really hot and because of that Nick refused to eat pretty much all day, which, if you have breastfed you know, was very uncomfortable for me.  However my cousin looked beautiful and she married a wonderful man!

Here's Nick in his wedding clothes, he was stripped down to a diaper about halfway through the day because he got a heat rash all over his body.

Father's Day with no pictures of dad...:O(

Raz's first Father's Day!  We started the day with breakfast with my dad and Raz's and then we went to church.  The week before they took professional pictures of the dads with their kids.  Raz took one with Nicholas and it turned out really cute.  During the service this week they showed all the pictures in a slide show with music, it was pretty cool, Raz and Nick were famous!  After church we came home and had a BBQ with family.  You will see below that there are lots of pictures of the kids and not one of Raz...I have no good excuses other than that fact that the kids are so cute!!?  Do you know what is even more sad?  I didn't even realize I hadn't taken a picture of Raz until I was uploading the pictures to put on the blog. :(  Don't worry, he forgives me.  Luckily we do have the one professional picture from church...better than nothing.

Here's Nick with his cousin Mina, they are only 9 days apart.  She was born on October 31st, here she is showing Nick some love....awwww...
Angie dressed her boys in matching clothes for Father's Day...so cute!!
Angie and Alex, relaxing and enjoying the day!

Speaking of big boy...

Well, he's so big that he sits in the grocery cart now too!  :O)  I was blessed to get this cart cover at one of my showers and I love it!  It makes it so cozy for him to sit while we shop.  He also loved that he could look around.  I had a hard time getting a good picture of him becuase he just wanted to look around and not at me.

Big Boy Stroller

We were up in Venice Beach for my cousin's wedding shower and Nick rode in the stroller like a big boy for the first time.  (Previously he would ride in the infant carrier that would sit on top of the stroller)  Well, he LOVED it!  He loved just smiled and smiled and loved looking around.  He is already such a big boy!

He was totally wiped out from all the looking around!!  So sweet...
